About the role

  • Hybrid and fully remote working arrangements available
  • 0.8FTE – 1.0FTE (flexible work arrangements available)
  • Fixed term to January 2027 (parental leave cover)
  • $102,303 - $107, % super + 17.5% annual leave loading + 5 additional days health/wellbeing leave

Working within the Prevention in Action Directorate, the Tertiary Education Lead will work with the Tertiary Education team to lead engagement with tertiary education institutions across Australia, with a focus on TAFE, VET and dual institutions. Develop and nurture effective relationships across the organisation and externally with key stakeholders and collaborate to support the continuous improvement of key approaches and resources, including Respect and Equality in TAFE and Educating for Equality.

About you

You will be an experienced prevention specialist with a strong knowledge of prevention of violence against women, a deep understanding of cultural change in organisations in relation to gender equality and experience working in or alongside tertiary education institutions to support change initiatives. You will have sophisticated communications skills and confidence engaging a broad range of stakeholders in tertiary education environments. You will also have experience facilitating training and capacity development activities that suit the diverse entry points and contexts of TAFE, VET and dual institutions across Australia.
