This Technical Business Analyst role sits in our Digital technology team where you'll play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Keno platform.

This is a 6-month contract role, based in our Melbourne CBD office. We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment that blends remote work with on-site presence as needed to meet project deliverables. Please note, this role will be engaged as a contractor, on assignment at the Lottery Corporation through Hudson Talent Solutions.

What you'll do

  • Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Technical Requirements Document (TRD)
  • Interface and API Specifications
  • System Integration Diagrams
  • Technical Risk and Dependency Register
  • Contribution to Business Case (technical feasibility section)
  • Input into Project Plan (technical activities and estimates)
  • Test support documentation, validation reports, and UAT evidence during deliver phase
  • Jira boards and Confluence pages for requirements, technical documentation, and test artefacts

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in custom digital software development environments (web / mobile).
  • Good grounding in technical understanding (can read code, query DBs)
  • Knows how to capture requirements (functional and non-functional), and elicit acceptance criteria (and has worked with systems to capture these)
  • Can follow the work through the development process to production
  • Experienced in capturing technical uplift as part of the work
  • Experienced in software engineering teams that have worked on web and mobile app development
  • Exposure to regulated industries would be advantageous
