Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and highly organised individual to oversee the day-to-day running of our vertical farm operation. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on structure, takes clear instruction and follows through with consistent action. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate people and processes to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activities of the farm to ensure operations run efficiently and on schedule.
  • Organise and oversee tasks such as propagation, picking, packing and general farm tasks.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with company expectations.
  • Support and supervise team members, providing clear direction and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, supplies and schedules.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates and align on priorities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.
  • Experience in horticulture, agriculture or food production is preferred.

  • Willingness to learn farm-specific systems and processes.
