Deluxe Heating & Cooling is a dynamic, progressive air-conditioning company that specializes in the installation of ducted and split systems for new residential buildings and construction projects. Based in Adelaide's Western Suburbs, we service the Adelaide metro area and travel across both the southern and northern regions as required.

Our strong reputation for delivering high-quality products on time has enabled us to grow rapidly and become the preferred contractor for several of Adelaide's best and most innovative builders. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Qualified Electricians looking for a change in scenery and an opportunity to grow into refrigeration to join our team and support the installation of domestic air-conditioning systems.

Role Overview:

As a Qualified Electrician with the opportunity to grow into the refrigeration field, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of air-conditioning systems in new residential developments. You'll work closely with other tradespeople and have the chance to expand your skill set in refrigeration, with the company providing you with a short course to gain the necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and commission ducted and split air-conditioning systems, focusing on electrical components and overall system performance.
  • Work alongside refrigeration mechanics to troubleshoot and repair systems for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with the highest safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and builders to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Provide expert electrical advice and support on system setup and troubleshooting to both clients and team members.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications and criteria:

  • Fully qualified Electrician with a B Class Electrical License.
  • Strong interest in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems with the opportunity to grow into the field.
  • The company will provide you with a short course in refrigeration to further your qualifications and knowledge.
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential buildings.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • National White Card (Construction Induction).
  • Valid Working at Heights certification and Confined Spaces clearance.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Clearance.
  • Australian residency or appropriate work rights.

While not essential, a dual trade qualification in both refrigeration and electrical would be highly regarded.
