Well established mid tier law firm based at Southport seeks an experienced Family Law Secretary/Paralegal to compliment their team.
The Role
As a Family Law Legal Secretary / Paralegal you will be supporting a highly regarded Family Law team. Duties include:
- Act as first point of contact by managing initial enquiries from new clients and delivering exceptional client service.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients throughout the matter.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court appearances to ensure smooth workflow.
- Draft and prepare legal correspondence and court documents
- Manage disclosure, maintain accurate file records (both electronic and physical), and handle opening/closing of client files including retainer documentation.
- Assist with billing, receipting, and general file administration.
You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience, ideally in Family Law
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
