About the opportunity 

We're currently seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Remuneration and Benefits to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our total rewards framework. This is a high-impact role that will influence how we attract, retain, and reward our people across the organisation.

  • Lead the ongoing development and execution of Sigma's Remuneration and Benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market competitiveness.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of fixed and variable remuneration programs, including annual reviews, incentive plans, and job grading.
  • Conduct market benchmarking, job evaluations and provide insights and updates on market trends.
  • Oversee non-monetary benefits, recognition programs, and vendor relationships to enhance our employee value proposition.
  • Work with the Payroll function to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and actionable insights to stakeholders, including Board-level reporting and Nomination and Remuneration Committee support.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, HR or a related discipline.
  • Deep experience in remuneration and benefits, ideally within an ASX-listed environment.
  • Experience leading teams and building capability across the broader P&C team
  • Deep technical knowledge of reward frameworks, benchmarking, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, Mercer CED Job Evaluation, and SharePoint.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
