The Department of Housing and Works delivers and maintains essential social housing and critical infrastructure across Western Australia—including schools, hospitals and police facilities.

About The Role:

As a
Training and Development Support Officer
, you will provide vital support to the Training and Development function, ensuring programs run smoothly and effectively. Your responsibilities include coordinating logistics and bookings, preparing materials, managing data and reports, and assisting with program delivery. You'll also contribute to improving processes and systems, helping us deliver high-quality learning experiences that build capability across the Department.

About You:

You are organised, proactive, and customer-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You take ownership of your work, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with others. Experience in training or project environments and proficiency with digital tools will be highly regarded.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.

Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time position
available for filling. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the Agency within the next twelve (12) months on a full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term basis with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.
