About the company

At Altro Australia Pty Ltd we manufacture Door Systems, such as Cavity Sliders, Door Jambs, Skirting, Stacking Sliding Door systems, Concealed Sliding Door systems and various other door systems as well as providing accessories.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Supervisor to oversee the Door Jam section of the business’s manufacturing operations.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Supervision of staff throughout the manufacturing process.

Oversee Door Jamb assembly and coordinate Door Jamb manufacturing for each job or project.

Organising materials required for each door Jamb job or project.

Monitoring the materials being used and organise additional material when required.

Monitoring the quality of door jambs being manufactured and ensure they are meeting the required standard.

Upon completion of each job or project checking manufactured quantities agrees to work ticket.

Once, job or project has been checked and is completed, coordinate and move door jambs to the despatch area, ready for dispatch to clients.

Experience and Qualification

At least 1 year experience in related field

Strong problem solving/ troubleshooting skills

Good organisation skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong customer service focus

Experience with quality control

Pay: $65,000.81 - $80,000.01 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
