Despatch Supervisor / Manager – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Despatch Supervisor or Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in keeping our logistics operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Location: Chester Hill

Start Time: 4:00 AM (some weekend work may be required occasionally)

Employment Type: Full Time

Reporting to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the despatch team to meet daily KPIs and performance standards
• Hands-on role, working in a cold storage environment
• Plan and schedule truck deliveries efficiently
• Oversee and monitor order processing to ensure timely and accurate dispatch
• Ensure all relevant documentation (delivery orders, invoices, etc.) is completed correctly
• Liaise with internal departments and store locations regarding freight, invoices, and dispatch enquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimise dispatch operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transport coordination role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch/logistics software
