Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Butcher, located in Ingleside, NSW. The Butcher will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat, including poultry and seafood. Daily tasks will include operating tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage and handling of products, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. The Butcher will also be involved in providing exceptional customer service, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Butchery, Poultry, Seafood, and Meat Processing skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Relevant certifications or training in meat processing and safety standards are beneficial
