About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Full-Time Chef to join our team at Lone Star Rib House Bunbury, located in Bunbury WA 6230. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that deliver an outstanding dining experience for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes from our menu to the highest standards
  • Ensuring all food preparation and cooking tasks are completed efficiently and consistently
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Assisting with menu planning and development when required
  • Delivering excellent customer service and responding to special requests promptly
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Producing high-quality food at all times with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrating a hands-on work ethic, can-do attitude, and the ability to multitask
  • Managing competing demands and performing well under pressure – strong time management is essential
  • Ensuring smooth and organised kitchen operations during service
  • Maintaining clear communication with the front-of-house team
  • Being honest, reliable, positive, and dedicated to service excellence
  • Working autonomously as well as part of a team

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  • Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Chef
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Passion for high-quality food and presentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Food safety and hygiene certification
  • A positive, professional attitude and solid work ethic
  • Customer-focused mindset
