Leading Australian owned Transport and Container Depot seeking an experienced Depot Manager with container unpack experience to join team located St Marys.
This is newly created role to support management, seeking a person with proven leadership skills that can lead and drive team to desired results.
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4pm (Flexible)
About the role :
- Managing 100 plus container unpacks per week
- Managing a team of approx 10 storeman and 10 drivers
- Ensuring all unpack and dispatch processes are managed as required ie photos taken, system updated.
- Transport planning the team to co-ordinate wharf inbound and priority container unpacks within detention free days.
- Managing warehouse resources to ensure all containerised goods are unpacked in a timely , safe and damage free environment
- Forklift Licence sought
About you :
- You have current local experience in similar capacity working for local transport / unpack depot in leadership capacity
- You must have hands on experience in container unpacks
- You have the ability to confidently manage and direct people
- You are well organised with strong attention to detail with admin tasks to ensure efficiency
- You have forklift experience & licence
- You can work well with a diverse range of clients
