Depot Manager
to take the lead at one of their key sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and knows how to run a tight ship.

About The Role
As
Depot Manager
, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the depot, managing staff, ensuring compliance, driving performance, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

You'll be the key point of contact for operational matters, leading a team of drivers and depot staff to deliver seamless service and ensure the depot runs like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee depot operations including dispatch, freight handling, and fleet coordination
  • Manage and lead on-site staff and drivers with a focus on performance and safety
  • Ensure full compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility, and WHS legislation
  • Monitor operational KPIs and identify areas for efficiency improvements
  • Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to meet service requirements
  • Drive a proactive, safety-first culture within the team

About You

  • Proven experience in depot, transport, or logistics management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead from the front
  • Deep understanding of transport compliance and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Forklift licence and relevant logistics qualifications are desirable
