About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
VMware Workspace ONE Engineer
with
on-premise expertise
to join a leading enterprise team based in Sydney.

In this role, you will take ownership of a large
on-prem Workspace ONE environment
, focused on
mobile device management (phones and tablets)
. You'll work closely with senior engineers to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient endpoint management solutions.

This position suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, complex technical environments, and direct collaboration with internal IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the
    VMware Workspace ONE (on-prem)
    platform
  • Configure, deploy, and support
    mobile and tablet devices
  • Troubleshoot
    routing, proxy, and authentication issues
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve system performance and reliability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across endpoint management and security

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with
    VMware Workspace ONE (on-prem)
  • Strong knowledge of
    endpoint and mobile device management (MDM)
  • Understanding of
    network routing, proxies, and authentication
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to
    Microsoft Intune
    or similar MDM tools (advantageous)
