We are seeking a Training Equipment and Logistics Officer to provide equipment, venue and logistics support to educators and program participants to enable the effective delivery of education programs within our Operational Capability Department. This is a full-time ongoing position based at our Sunshine Capability Centre. Candidates will need to have the ability and flexibility to work across various AV locations as required with the role.
About The Role
Reporting to the Manager Standards and Support, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Effective coordination of training equipment, resources, facilities, and logistics for educators and participants
- Support scheduling and resource allocation for training room bookings, including set up and pack down of classrooms
- Maintain, prepare, and monitor a range of training equipment, consumables and resources, ensuring readiness including cleaning, minor repairs, arranging servicing, safety checks and disposal of infectious waste
- Provide support, guidance and training to educators and participants in the appropriate use and care of AV's training equipment
About You
A diploma, degree or industry certification is desirable (not essential) however our ideal candidate will have relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Demonstrated previous experience in managing equipment and logistics
- High level organisational skills with ability to effectively plan, schedule and coordinate
- Ability to safely manage and coordinate training equipment and associated materials
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
