Our client is a highly respected Tier 1 Remedial Building contractor with over 50 years of proven success across New South Wales and Queensland. Specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial works—including Structural Strengthening, Concrete Repair, and Façade Recladding—they deliver high-quality, safety-first outcomes across complex projects. The Opportunity
An exciting permanent position is now available for a skilled Contract Administrator to join a collaborative and supportive team. Ideally, you will bring experience in remedial construction or façade/cladding replacement projects.
Based primarily at the head office, this role also offers occasional site visits, providing variety and insight into the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial success across multiple remedial and recladding projects (ranging from $5M to $15M). Your duties will include:
- Managing contract administration across 3-5 concurrent projects
- Reviewing head contracts and subcontracts, identifying risks and compliance issues
- Assessing contractor financial performance and ensuring cost control
- Managing and processing variations, progress claims, and EOTs
- Ensuring compliance with the Security of Payments Act and project-specific contract obligations
- Undertaking pricing analysis and supporting accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing and certifying subcontractor payments
About You
We're seeking a capable and career-focused professional who brings:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role, ideally within remedial or façade/cladding projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong working knowledge of contract law, drafting, negotiation, and change order processes
- Proven ability to manage commercial documentation, claims, and risk mitigation strategies
- Full Australian working rights
