Vipac Engineers & Scientists Ltd is seeking to recruit an Acoustic / Graduate Acoustic Consultant to work as part of a team of consultants specialising in Noise, Acoustics, Vibration and Air Quality. The role will suit a recent Graduate or candidate with up to 2 years' experience. The position is based in Spring Hill, Brisbane, Queensland.

Vipac is a multi-disciplinary consultancy that provides Noise, Acoustics, Vibration, Air Quality and other services to building, infrastructure, oil and gas, industrial, defence, mining and commercial clients.

We are looking for the following skills and attributes from the successful applicant, with an eagerness to learn:

  • A degree or post graduate qualifications in engineering or physical science degree;
  • The role will involve work in a broad spectrum of technical areas;
  • Knowledge in noise, acoustics, vibration, air quality, computational modelling will be favoured;
  • Competent report writing skills;
  • Willingness to travel for field work and flexibility with working hours;
  • Strong communication skills; and
  • A team player who is able to work independently when required.

Project work involves measurement, analysis, computer modelling problem solving and assessment. Good writing, communication and time management skills are required.

The remuneration will follow industry standards and be commensurate with experience. Professional development is encouraged.
