We are seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Smart AVR Pty Ltd in Nerang, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and equipment to analyse and troubleshoot vehicle faults
  • Repair and replace faulty components to restore vehicle functionality
  • Provide accurate and detailed reporting on all work undertaken
  • Liaise with customers to explain findings and recommended repairs
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new automotive technologies

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent working knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
  • Proficiency in using a range of diagnostic equipment and software
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
  • A current driver's licence.
