The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team.

In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a
Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services
who is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient manual handling using appropriate equipment and aides.
• Provide support to clinical staff and assist patients on admission to settle in comfortably.
• Assist with emergency responses as required.
• Clean and maintain equipment and patient areas in line with infection control standards.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Unit Manager or hospital coordinators.

Skills And Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.

You will also demonstrate:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2 nd or 3 rd year Registered Nursing student.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
• Understanding of infection control principles

Remuneration:
On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $ casual Loading based on experience level and qualifications.
