Job Description

Reitsma Constructions, a well established commercial building company is seeking an Estimator for our Sydney team. The applicant will be able to work in a small team environment, working with a team of five managing up to 2-3 tenders at a time

The role requires:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with a commercial builder.
  • Experience in pricing projects up to a value of $30M in the commercial, industrial, educational and aged care sectors.
  • Confidently measure and develop BOQ's to detail.
  • Peer reviewing externally provided BOQ's
  • Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Sound understanding of market rates
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-driven to meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Able to build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
  • Able to use Estimateone, Cubit, and Cubit Select.
