The Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA) is the peak industry body for the Australian Mango Industry.

We are looking for a suitable qualified and experienced person to join our team (on a part time basis during the season – approx. 2 days/week). The peak mango season extends from September to February.

The requirements of the role include undertaking a range of activities during the Australian mango season to connect all sectors of the supply chain, from production to retail.  Some travel may be required – including overseas.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with other AMIA team members, Hort Innovation, and a project reference group, the role will be responsible for assisting the team connect with sectors of the supply chain and ensure a smooth flow of information during the season.  Importantly the role will regularly be in contact with growers, supply chain partners and retailers as well as reporting to the Board of AMIA.

To be successful the successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills

The ability to work autonomously and be proactive

Project Management experience

Sound listening skills

Report writing skills

Experience in the fresh produce industry

IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
