Intrax Consulting Engineers are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end-to-end service to our clients across a range of services including Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering.
The Intrax Housing Division has built its success by inspiring volume builders to confidently build more innovative and affordable homes for Australian families, and we have the unique opportunity to join our growing Housing team on full-time permanent basis within our Queensland division as a Team Leaderreporting to our Queensland Engineering Manager.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage a team of residential engineers and designers, ensuring smooth workflow and delivery of projects.
- Oversee project planning, design review, and quality assurance for residential and medium-density residential developments.
- Maintain and optimise processes, systems, and team workflows for efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and deliver technical solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a technical engineering role.
- Proven experience in people management and leading a technical team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workflows effectively and efficiently.
- Experience in residential or medium-density residential design.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant standards and codes, including but not limited to: NCC, AS2870, AS1720, AS1684, AS4055, AS3600, AS4100, AS4678, AS3500, AS3700.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or the ability to quickly adapt to optimise processes and systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with technology and online platforms to enhance team productivity.
