We are a progressive and client-focused law firm based in Sydney and Melbourne, known for our collaborative culture and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a Senior Associate who brings both deep expertise in Family Law and a solid grounding in Commercial Law.

The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including parenting disputes, property settlements, financial agreements, and domestic violence applications. Your commercial law experience will be valuable in advising clients on business-related family matters, such as asset protection and business valuations in property settlements. You will also bring strong advocacy skills, representing clients across court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration, with a focus on delivering practical and favourable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex family law matters from start to finish
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development
  • Provide strategic advice on commercial aspects of family law cases
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

About You

  • Minimum 5+ years PQE in Family Law
  • Experience in Commercial Law and High Net Wealth (e.g., business structures, contracts, property)
  • Accredited Specialist in Family Law (or working towards it) is highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
