Greg Russo Law is a specialised boutique practice dealing with Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate related litigation.  Operating both in the CBD and on the Mornington Peninsula, Greg Russo Law represents clients from across Melbourne and Victoria.

We are a vibrant and dynamic team with many years of experience working on a range of Wills and Estate matters, including complex litigation.

We pride ourselves on understanding our client's needs and providing effective, bespoke solutions. Focusing on succession law we are committed to maintaining up to date knowledge of changes to law and industry developments.  Our team regularly presents for industry educational providers, such as the Law Institute of Victoria and The Tax Institute, both in Australia and overseas.

Our busy firm is seeking an experienced person to fill the position of Senior Legal Administrator.  This is a full-time role.  The successful applicant will be responsible for handling the day-to-day management of client matters, organisation of administrative services and providing support to the legal team.  The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

Areas of responsibility

  • Management and coordination of the administrative and legal support services for the GRL team
  • Liaise and confidently communicate with clients, other legal professionals and stake holders
  • Diary management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining the firm calendar
  • Preparation of Court documents, Wills and Powers of Attorney
  • Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
  • Maintaining strict privacy & confidentiality

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years' working experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role
  • Experience in estate planning and probate law preferred
  • Experience with MS Office, Actionstep (or similar practice management software)
  • Experience with Court portals (i.e. RedCrest and CITEC)
  • Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deal with competing demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
