About the role

The Digital Health Trainer is an integral part of a team at Western Health, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs and support to Super Users and End Users including both clinical and non-clinical staff across all Western Health campuses in Digital Health. Trainers must possess a sound understanding of current workflows, ensuring they can effectively convey the impact of changes to end users.

You must also have a keen interest in learning and training new and existing workflows. Close collaboration with the Digital Health team, clinical staff, and stakeholders is crucial to provide ongoing support and training for users of Digital Health applications, aligning with Western Health's commitment to delivering safe, person-centered, and coordinated patient care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff across Western Health campuses.
  • Create and maintain EMR training materials, including e-learning content and manuals.
  • Provide onsite and post-go-live support for users during EMR implementations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with Digital Health teams and clinical staff to ensure effective adoption of system changes.
  • Apply adult learning principles to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences.

About you:

  • Experience in workplace training or education within the health sector, preferably in Digital Health.
  • Clinical or informatics background with knowledge of EMR systems (Oracle Health or equivalent).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex team environment.
  • Willingness to travel between Western Health sites to support users onsite.
