About the Role

Paton Diesel Services (PDS) in Paget, Mackay are seeking a full time, experienced Diesel Fitter.  Working in our Paget workshop, you will work alongside the team to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of Mining Equipment including machinery, engines and components.

Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose, overhaul, maintain and repair a variety of Mining equipment including Machinery and Engines

Be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues

Maintain accurate records of work

Working within a team and independently when require

Any other duties as directed by management

About you:

Relevant Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering, Fixed and Mobile Plant, Mobile Plant Technology or Engine Reconditioning)

Strong work ethic

Strong fault finding and diagnostic abilities

Earthmoving Component Rebuild or Engine Rebuild experience preferred

Required license: Driver's license

Preferred license: Forklift
