Gunlake is the largest local independent supplier of concrete and quarry products in NSW. We currently have five concrete plants in operation and another in the development phase. The main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Conducting field testing of concrete in accordance with relevant test methods.
  • Liaise with technical and sales staff in relation to internal/external customer requirements and complaints.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
  • Other duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
  • A Ute will be provided for this role.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A commitment to safety and quality.
  • Previous laboratory/concrete technology experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline e.g. Civil, Chemical or Materials - (desirable but not essential).
  • Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).
  • Capability for physical work.
  • Ability to work Overtime and Saturdays.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a customer focus.
  • A current driver's license.
