Torvac Solutions Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced fire systems tester / technician to join our team.  The successful candidate will have the experience and qualifications to conduct monthly, 6 monthly and annual inspection and testing and minor repairs of dry, wet and passive fire systems in accordance with AS This is a full-time position within our Service & Maintenance division.  FPAS accreditation for Inspection and Testing will be highly regarded as will a Cablers Licence.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Replacement and repairs to portable fire equipment.

  • Minor Hose Reel and Hydrant systems repairs.
  • Smoke Alarm and Fire Door Testing and repairs.
  • Emergency and Exit light testing and installation.
  • Installation, maintenance and repairs of fire systems and emergency warning systems.
  • Assisting with fit outs and minor works as required.
  • Assisting with ordering parts and equipment.
  • Documenting all systems testing, faults and work notes using simPRO App on iphone.

Skills and experience: 

• Excellent time management practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong work ethic.

• Knowledge of Australian Standard AS

• Current drivers licence.

• White Card.

• Able to work individually and as part of a team.

• Industry recognised accreditation.
