Description:

Test Automation Development:


• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites for web, mobile, and desktop applications.


• Ensure test automation code is maintainable, scalable, and reusable.

Test Execution and Reporting:


• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, identifying defects and issues.


• Report defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.


• Maintain and update automated test reports and documentation.

Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD):


• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support automated regression testing and early defect detection.


• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and testing processes.

Quality Assurance Processes:


• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define and implement test automation strategies and best practices.


• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test data creation.

Defect Management:


• Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.


• Verify defect fixes and ensure they are properly validated through automated testing.

Technical Evaluation:


• Stay updated with emerging automation testing technologies and tools, evaluating their potential impact on the testing strategy.


• Contribute to the selection of automation testing tools and frameworks.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer in a technology or software-focused company.


• Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).


• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.


• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies.


• Knowledge of software testing concepts, test design, and test case management.


• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
