Role Overview:

We're seeking a Parts Interpreter to join a busy dealership parts and accessories team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you'll handle interpretation, ordering, and customer support to keep parts supplies accurate, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret parts requirements from technicians and customers using catalogues and systems.
  • Process orders, prepare quotes, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Manage stock control, receival, storage, dispatch, and replenishment.
  • Liaise with suppliers for pricing, availability, and returns.
  • Support the workshop and sales teams with accurate and timely parts delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service across counter, phone, and email channels.
  • Maintain records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Parts Interpreter, ideally in automotive, trucks, or heavy machinery.
  • Strong customer service skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with dealership/ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Tune, Movex) highly regarded.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Current driver's licence.
