Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 - $110,271 per annum + superannuation.
About the role
As an Assistant Grants Assessment Officer, you will provide essential project and administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of recovery program funding. Working within the Recovery Programs Branch, you will help manage grants in line with NSW policies and standards, contributing to meaningful outcomes for disaster-affected communities.
Your responsibilities will include assessing grant application, processing grant payments compiling and analysing data, and preparing reports and briefings on program performance.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and committed to supporting fair, efficient, and impactful grants administration. You will also have:
- Knowledge of NSW grants legislation and guidelines, including the NSW Grants Administration Guide and Public Finance and Audit Act
- Experience in administrative support for grants or community programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data
- Effective written communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and briefings
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the RA) is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier's Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
