**What we trust you to deliver**:
- **Be the driving force behind external funding success**:
- Lead the identification, acquisition, and management of grant funding that enables Council’s strategic projects and essential services. Champion a proactive and coordinated approach to external income generation across the organisation.
- **Take ownership of Council’s Grants & Revenue Intelligence** - Manage the centralised grants register, deliver accurate forecasting and reporting, and become the trusted authority for all non-rates revenue data across Council.
- **Drive financial performance and insight** - Support liquidity,**compliance, and financial planning with high-quality, actionable insights—strengthening Council’s ability to advocate for and act on strategic opportunities.
- **Make an organisation-wide impact** - This isn’t an admin support role—it’s a strategic enabler. If you’re passionate about financial sustainability, community impact, and shaping change, this is your opportunity to drive results that matter.
**What you will need to be successful**:
- Relevant bachelor's degree
- Class C drivers licence
- Experience in a previous business development role or Grants funding experience highly desirable
- Proven stakeholder management and a Strategic thinker
- Membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g. CPA, CA, IPA or equivalent)
**Full position description**:
**Full Time**:70 hours a fortnight
