Administration and Revenue Manager – Security
to join the
Transperth Train Operations
team on a
full-time, permanent basis
.
Reporting to the
Manager, Security Services
, this role is responsible for overseeing the Transit Support and Revenue Protection functions to ensure a safe, secure and customer-focused environment across the Public Transport Authority's (PTA) rail network. You will play a key role in operational management, contractor coordination, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rosters, contractor coordination and administrative support within the Security Services Branch, including procurement, advice provision, and ensuring alignment with induction and training requirements.
- Lead investigations and industrial relations matters, and represent the PTA in enterprise bargaining (EBA) negotiations.
- Monitor fare evasion trends and develop targeted strategies to enhance passenger safety and compliance.
- Oversee performance management processes, workers' compensation claims, training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of customer service excellence and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across government, community and industry forums.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in managing large and complex rosters and leading frontline staff within a dynamic operational environment.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to implement change and guide administrative teams in line with organisational policies.
- Sound understanding of contemporary customer service principles and their practical application across varied situations.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

There is
one
permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process will be placed in a pool for 12 months and may be used to fill similar vacancies.
