Join the Civmec TeamThis is a great opportunity for experienced Electrical Trades Assistant to join our team working on the FMG Green Iron project located at Christmas Creek. Civmec has been awarded the delivery of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation packages of work that kicked off in June 2025 with project completion scheduled for Mid-2026. The project offers a 3:1 roster with transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport.
The RoleReporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
Perform spotting duties as requiredOperate a variety of tools and machines including forklifts, EWP's, grinders, power drills or other cutting and shaping tools and machines Assist with Cable Pulling and working closely with the Electrical personnel on site Assisting with the install of Cable Trays Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenchesLoading and delivering project materialsFollow quality control systems and techniquesHousekeepingPerform other general duties as required About YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:
Minimum 1 year industrial experience as an Electrical Trade AssistantCurrent Working Safely at Heights CertificateCurrent Drivers LicenceCurrent High risk elevating work platform licenseNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Previous construction experienceAbility to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
