This is a great opportunity for experienced Boilermakers to join our team working on the FMG Green Iron project located at Christmas Creek. Civmec has been awarded the delivery of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation packages of work that kicked off in June 2025 with project completion scheduled for Mid-2026. The project offers a 3:1 roster with transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport.

The Role

Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

Utilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functionsPerform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG.Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsInterpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsFollow quality control systems and techniquesMaintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel componentsCut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsPerform other general duties as required About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Australian recognised Trade Certificate Current Working Safely at Heights CertificateCurrent High risk elevating work platform license and VOCCurrent Drivers LicenceNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Previous construction experienceAbility to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.Ability to pass a Weld Test Civmec + You
