Join the Civmec TeamThis is a great opportunity for experienced Electricians to join our team working on the FMG Green Iron project located at Christmas Creek. Civmec has been awarded the delivery of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation packages of work that kicked off in June 2025 with project completion scheduled for Mid-2026. The project offers a 3:1 roster with transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport.
The RoleReporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
Interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure installation adheres to theseCarry out planning tasks as requestedCarry out cable ladder/conduit installationComplete cable installationCarry out cable terminationsInstallation of devices and instrumentsInstallation of small light and powerEarthing, above and undergroundFollow quality control systems and techniquesHousekeepingPerform other general duties as requiredPerform cable terminations, glanding, and testing in EEHA hazardous areasInstall, inspect, and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas (EEHA) in accordance with AS/NZS 60079 standards. Australian recognised Trade Certificate in ElectricalHazardous Areas (EEHA) Certificate(advantageous) Valid WA Electrical LicenceCurrent CPR/LVR and First Aid CertificationCurrent High risk elevating work platform licenseCurrent Working Safely at Heights CertificateCurrent Drivers LicenceNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Previous construction experienceAbility to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
