Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model
- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
The RACP is undertaking a broad program of change to redesign training programs, uplift workforce capability, and implement enabling technologies. Central to this is Project TRELLiS, the College's flagship digital transformation initiative, reimagining member experience while improving operational efficiency, employee experience and reducing cost to serve. T
he Senior Change Manager provides dedicated leadership for the design and delivery of change management activities that ensure the successful adaption of TRELLiS outcomes. This role is responsible for driving adoption of new ways of working, structures, processes, and systems, with a focus on guiding the organisation through enterprise wide impacts of Project TRELLiS.
Working closely with the Project Director, project teams, and senior stakeholders, the Senior Change Manager stewards TRELLiS change and communication strategies, builds commitment and ownership across the College, and supports leaders to guide their teams through the transformation. By focusing on adoption, capability uplift, and cultural resilience within the program, this role ensure TRELLiS delivers its intended benefits and contributes directly to the College's long-term strategic success.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of adaptability and resilience within the TRELLiS program, modelling change-ready behaviours and inspiring leaders and teams to embrace and prepare for change.
- Design and implement fit-for-purpose change management strategies for TRELLiS in collaboration with Project Managers, leveraging appropriate tools and methodologies to drive adoption and sustain change.
- Assess and plan resourcing needs for TRELLiS change management activities, identifying the right balance of internal and external capability.
- Conduct business readiness assessments and develop detailed transition and cutover plans in collaboration with project/program managers to ensure seamless implementation and handover into ongoing business operations.
- Lead training needs analysis and partner with TRELLiS workstreams to design and deliver learning plans that equip employees with skills and knowledge required for successful adoption.
- Complete stakeholder analysis and implement targeted engagement, communication and training plans to build understanding, alignment, and support across the College.
- Track and measure adoption of TRELLiS outcomes, monitoring readiness, uptake, and barriers, and reinforcing new practices through ongoing support, capability building and feedback loops
In order to be considered for this role we are seeking the following skills and experience:
Essential
- 10+ years' of experience leading complex change programs, particularly in technology driven transformation impact operating models, people, structure and process.
- Formal qualifications in change management, organisational development, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable change management plans, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Deep knowledge of change management methodologies, principles, and best practices, particularly in complex, stakeholder-driven environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, with experience navigating complex governance structures and working with executive leadership, members and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop and present clear, concise and compelling content for diverse audiences, from senior executives to frontline employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Experience working in agile, iterative ways of working, and digital transformation workstreams, with the ability to adapt change approaches to evolving priorities.
- High emotional intelligence and resilience, with strong cultural awareness and the ability to manage stress and uncertainty in change environments.
- Ability to measure and demonstrate progress and benefits realisation using KPIs and success metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps , Miro and Jira. Desired
