Diagnostic Mechanic – Pacific Gympie

Are you a skilled and motivated mechanic who thrives on solving complex vehicle issues? Pacific Gympie is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Mechanic to join our growing Service Department.

We're part of a progressive multi-franchise dealership group with a strong reputation for quality service, teamwork, and career growth. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys a challenge and takes pride in precision diagnostics and repair excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs across a range of vehicle brands
  • Support the workshop team by assisting with complex jobs and mentoring apprentices
  • Ensure all repairs and diagnostics meet manufacturer and safety standards
  • Work with the latest tools, diagnostic software, and OEM systems

What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III minimum)
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical knowledge
  • Dealership or OEM experience (Hyundai, Isuzu Ute, GWM, Mitsubishi, Honda, or Renault advantageous)
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
