About the role

Golf Cars Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team on Hamilton Island, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our fleet of golf carts, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular inspections and servicing of golf carts, including mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
  2. Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions in golf carts
  3. Performing maintenance tasks such as replacing parts, adjusting components, and cleaning and lubricating equipment
  4. Documenting all work completed and maintaining detailed records
  5. Providing excellent customer service to our golf cart users
  6. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our golf cart services

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant technical qualifications and experience as a Technician, with a strong understanding of golf cart mechanics and electronics
  2. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
  4. Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
  5. A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude
  6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate golf carts safely
