The Role

You will be required to work over the below areas for the group:

  • Daily account reconciliation
  • Accounts payable and receivable 
  • Weekly payroll execution 
  • BAS and IAS Preparation and Lodgments 
  • Monthly Payroll tax
  • Cashflow management
  • Superannuation
  • Long service leave
  • Liaising with external accountant where required

Skills required:

- Experience in Microsoft applications 

- Experience with MYOB

- Experience in similar role 

- Qualification in accounting or bookkeeping

What We're Looking For
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in a finance or bookkeeping role (AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end; IAS Reporting & lodgments)
  • Confident communicator — comfortable on the phone with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
  • Strong Myob skills + Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive, "see it, do it" attitude
  • Laser-sharp attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
  • Absolute professionalism and discretion with confidential financial data
