What's The Role
We're seeking a trade qualified and experienced
Heavy Diesel Mechanic
to join our growing team based in our Erskine Park, Sydney Workshop on a full time basis.

Working a Monday to Friday, afternoon shift starting at 2.00pm until 12.00am, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional looking for work-life balance while still making a significant impact in the transport industry.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To

  • Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - Repairing, replacing, and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers); Performing major repairs including rebuilds, midlifes, and brake/bearing overhauls; Servicing vehicles according to the company schedule.
  • Documentation & Compliance - Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Breakdown and Emergency Support - Attending to vehicle breakdowns as part of a roster

What You'll Bring:

  • Mechanical Trade qualification
  • Demonstrated experience post apprenticeship
  • Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
  • Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
  • Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
  • Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
