The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee fleet maintenance and lead our dedicated workshop team at Tamworth Buslines. This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for a trade-qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with supervisory experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing scheduled servicing and repairs
- Leading and supervising workshop staff
- Ensuring WH&S and compliance standards are met
- Ordering parts and managing stock levels
- Maintaining accurate service records
Our workshop is modern, clean, and fully equipped—providing you with the ideal environment to lead by example.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate (MVTC) – Essential
- Trade qualification as a heavy vehicle mechanic
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar supervisory or foreman role
- A current Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational and time management skills
