About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, workshop-based role with occasional on-site work.
You'll work on a wide variety of equipment, including:
- Road transport trucks and trailers
- Cranes and elevated work platforms (EWPs)
- Specialised plant and equipment
This role offers excellent variety, security, and a great work/life balance with family-friendly hours.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Experience with diagnostic equipment training will be provided for successful applicants
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections
- Assist with breakdowns and occasional field service work
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standards
About You
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
- Experience with trucks, trailers, cranes, plant or EWPs preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
- Must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application
