About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, workshop-based role with occasional on-site work.

You'll work on a wide variety of equipment, including:

  • Road transport trucks and trailers
  • Cranes and elevated work platforms (EWPs)
  • Specialised plant and equipment

This role offers excellent variety, security, and a great work/life balance with family-friendly hours.

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment training will be provided for successful applicants
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections
  • Assist with breakdowns and occasional field service work
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standards

About You

  • Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Experience with trucks, trailers, cranes, plant or EWPs preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
  • Must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application
