About the Role:

Cairns Kids Early Learning is a well-established service that has a great reputation within the community.  We are seeking inspiring and dedicated Lead Educators and Educators to support children's curiosity and natural interest to learn more.

Skills and Attitudes:
  • An ability to inspire children's learning and play opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative educational programs that support children within the learning outcomes.
  • Have an ability to be innovative and creative.
  • An ability to create an environment that inspires learning and play based opportunities, through provocations.
  • Provide and environment that is conducive for children's learning and provide opportunities for autonomy, agency and risk taking.
  • Provide a friendly, caring and warm environment in which strong and trusting relationships can be built.

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.

Qualifications & Experience for Lead Educators:
  • Diploma in Children's Services or actively working towards this qualification (must hold a Certificate III and studying Diploma)
  • Current working with children check or exemption.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Experience working with children.

  • Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification).
