Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for a key role in the water and waste water sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected company delivering critical water, waste water, and reuse solutions across Australia and New Zealand's municipal, industrial, and resource sectors.

About the Role:As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing both field-based and workshop services, commissioning new systems, and supporting ongoing operations. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the high standards and strong reputation the company holds within the industry.

The worked hours are 7.6hrs per day Mon - Fri when in Perth and 12 hour days when required on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs in both field and workshop environments
  • Provide commissioning services for a wide range of systems and equipment
  • Support the broader team with equipment assembly, testing, warranty inspections, and fault rectification
  • Identify and contribute to sales and business development opportunities
  • Interpret and work from electrical and technical drawings
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrician, Plumber or Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
  • Wastewater experience, or be interested in the industry
  • Instrumentation experience (desirable)
  • FIFO or mining experience (desirable)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Pass a full medical and Police Clearance
  • Open to Australian Permanent residents or Citizen's only
