ABOUT US

Docksafe, a trusted leader in loading dock equipment services, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Perth-based team. We specialise in the service, supply, and installation of loading dock equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency for our clients.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and installing dock levellers, roller doors, gates, and barriers at various client sites. Your day-to-day activities will involve troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair loading dock equipment on-site

  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment audits

  • Complete and submit detailed service reports via our app-based system

  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in ongoing training

  • Maintain positive customer relationships

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Electrical qualifications (connect/disconnect at minimum)

  • Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting experience and strong mechanical aptitude

  • Hydraulic knowledge would be an advantage

  • Welding experience would be an advantage

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays

  • Consistently honest in all professional interactions

  • Demonstrates unwavering personal integrity and accountability

  • Humble approach to work and professional development
