We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Process & Data Analyst to join our collaborative Retail Operations team on a 6-month contract. This role reports to the Workforce Team Leader supporting the Operations team (Customer Solutions & Retail Lending) and will be responsible for developing key performance metrics for our Credit, Settlement and Lending Support teams whilst ensuring data integrity and developing Power BI reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data management practices and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leading multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines simultaneously, whilst managing stakeholder expectations.

• Gathering requirements and providing input into solution design and data modelling decisions during data life cycle.

• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytical solutions.

• Apply best practices in master data management and data governance to uphold data quality and integrity.

• Work closely with data owners to maintain data governance standards while documenting processes and methodologies to support data governance and user training.

• Develop key performance metrics (KPI's) for individuals and departments.

• Create visualisations in Power BI that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

• Utilise data analysis and mining techniques to extract insights and support decision-making.

• Apply Data Science and Machine Learning methodologies to support analytics capabilities.

• Offer ongoing support to ensure users effectively leverage reporting tools.

• Work with various stakeholders on the formation and development of cascading performance metrics.

• Communicate complex data findings and technical information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Your background

• Demonstrable knowledge of the Financial Services/Automotive Finance Industry.

• Customer service, collections, loss recovery and/or credit experience in a responsible lending environment.

• Exposure to Customer Experience and Complaints data management.

• Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on reporting tools and data management.

• Hands-on experience in data design, flows, layers and semantics

• Advanced proficiency in Data Analysis Tools (Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, R) and cloud stack (Azure).

• Solid understanding of SQL and database management systems with strong data analysis and mining skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make compelling presentations to small or large groups.
