Are you an experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a smooth, efficient clinic?

We're looking for a Senior Dental Assistant to join our friendly, professional team at Coastal Smiles in Dee Why on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who values teamwork, quality dentistry, and a great work-life balance — all within a modern, caring practice.

About the Role:

  • Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:30pm — enjoy long weekends, no weekend work
  • Provide high-quality chairside assistance across all areas of general dentistry
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
  • Oversee infection control, sterilisation, and equipment care
  • Support patient flow and help ensure a smooth, efficient daily schedule
  • Assist with reception duties when needed to create a seamless patient experience
  • Convenient Dee Why location — close to cafés, shops, and public transport

About You:

  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in dental assisting
  • Excellent communication and chairside skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and initiative
  • A team player with a friendly, professional manner
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care
