We are specialists in complex water and sewer infrastructure projects and are known for delivering successful outcomes in drainage, water, sewer, pump stations, water storage, and wetland infrastructure projects across various authorities, local governments, and the land development industry.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects in the water and sewerage sector.

This role is best suited to someone with a strong foundation in civil construction and an interest in the planning and execution side of project delivery—including forecasting, programming, construction methodology development, and stakeholder coordination.

Candidates with 3 – 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry are encouraged to apply. Water industry experience will be viewed favourably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of water infrastructure projects in Victoria.
  • Assist in the development of project programs, including look-ahead schedules and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop construction methodologies and staging plans.
  • Work closely with site teams to align project plans with actual delivery requirements.
  • Contribute to project forecasting and resource planning activities.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards throughout all project phases.
  • Support risk management and mitigation planning across assigned projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3 – 5 years' experience in the Civil Construction industry (ideally including water-related infrastructure).
  • Experience with construction programs and scheduling tools is advantageous.
  • Construction Induction Card.
  • Current Driver's License.
