Ecosystem and Events Lead

Responsible for building and activating the Firmable ecosystem, you'll help amplify our brand, build our presence in the Australian sales community, and drive referrals through a strong network of partners and influencers. You'll be the key connector between Firmable and our ecosystem of sales leaders, GTM partners, and industry voices – engaging them through events, co-marketing programs, and strategic partnerships that fuel awareness and demand.

Key Responsibilities
Events & Community Activation (30%)
- Events Management:
Lead planning and execution of regular, small-format events people), roundtables, networking functions, and panels across key cities in Australia – including regular meetup series and flagship events
to create consistent touchpoints with prospects, customers and partners to ultimately drive engagement and conversions
- Webinars:
Own Firmable's monthly webinar program – from topic planning to promotion and follow-up. Partner with internal and ecosystem voices to deliver high-value sessions that build awareness, generate leads, and strengthen our community.
- Calendar Planning:
Develop and manage an ecosystem calendar across events, campaigns, and partner activations
to ensure coordinated, year-round presence in key markets and maximise event attendance
Partner & Influencer Ecosystem (30%)
- Partner Onboarding:
Identify and onboard high-value ecosystem partners including sales consultants, agencies, tech vendors, and communities aligned with our target audience
to build a network of advocates who actively refer and promote Firmable
- Influencer Activation:
Activate external influencers and partners to drive LinkedIn content creation, social awareness and referral sign-ups through the affiliate program (e.g. via First Promoter platform)
to increase organic reach and credibility
- Relationship Management:
Manage partner relationships to drive referrals, co-marketing opportunities, and ongoing engagement that supports Firmable's revenue goals
to convert partnerships into measurable pipeline contribution
Demand Generation & Marketing (30%)
- Lead Generation:
Drive measurable lead generation and
referral growth
through ecosystem initiatives – creating consistent top-of-funnel opportunities
- Brand Recognition:
Establish Firmable as a thought leader in the Australian sales community
to achieve step-change growth
in inbound pipeline and brand recognition
- Co-Marketing Campaigns:
Collaborate with marketing to run co-branded campaigns, content, and webinars with partners
to amplify reach and generate qualified leads
- Performance Tracking:
Track and report on partner and event engagement metrics – including sourced pipeline, referral conversions, participation rates, and campaign impact
to demonstrate clear ROI and optimise future initiatives
- Tactical Experimentation:
Experiment with new engagement tactics such as ambassador programs, Slack/LinkedIn groups, or content collaborations
to discover scalable, low-cost channels for audience growth and lead generation
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
- Internal Alignment:
Act as the bridge between sales, marketing and product to ensure the partner voice informs product development and go-to-market initiatives
to create feedback loops that improve product-market fit and partner satisfaction
- Enablement Materials:
Develop scalable partner communications and enablement materials to keep key contacts informed on product updates and opportunities
to maintain engagement and make it easy for partners to promote Firmable
Key Skills and Attributes
- Relevant Experience:
3+ years of experience in partnerships, community building, events, and marketing – ideally in a B2B SaaS or sales-focused environment. Strong events experience is essential – specifically with small-format, tactical meetups rather than large conferences
- Marketing Mindset:
Understanding of demand generation metrics and how events and ecosystem initiatives contribute to pipeline growth and business outcomes
- Highly Organised:
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously – from event logistics to campaign coordination, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Ecosystem Building:
Proven experience developing and managing partner or influencer contacts, including outreach, and activation that drives measurable referrals and engagement
- Events Expertise:
Hands-on event planning experience across both virtual and in-person formats, with proven ability to spin up low-cost, high-engagement tactical meetups quickly and efficiently
- Relationship Management:
Strong communication and relationship management skills – comfortable engaging with everyone from solo consultants to large-scale partners, and able to represent the Firmable brand professionally
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, sales and product teams to align ecosystem initiatives with business goals
- Creative Experimenter:
Creative thinker who loves experimenting with new engagement tactics and formats to discover what drives the best results

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be measured by increased growth in demand generation – specifically, the number of qualified leads and referrals generated through events, partnerships, and influencer activations that contribute to monthly pipeline targets. You'll also be accountable for establishing Firmable's presence as a thought leader through consistent event attendance, partner engagement rates, and brand visibility in the Australian sales community.
